Actually, you prove the Kaptain's entire point with that statement. For a point of reference, try the books Thick Black Theory (hard to find, and few even know it exists, very few copies survived, and I had translators turn down the job after reading selected paragraphs) or Thick Face, Black Heart.
While this thread is not about business strategy (and that is a good thing) it is about a good guy who has hit hard times and has turned people away (inadvertently, of course). I am sure he means well, and after seeing Derek's posts for some time, I know that he is a well intentioned person. I will not buy from Talon not because I think he has ripped anyone off, which I seriously doubt he has. The fact is, your check is cashed, you get the goods, be it a game or not, it is money at the root of the issue. Bad things happen to us all, and it is a pity that the man's personal life has taken a turn for the downside.
I wish him the best, and it is good to see people rally for him, but I will be one of those looking elsewhere to spend my money.
