Ugh, I hate the "whooshed" assumption. I understand what he was doing and why it was supposed to be funny. I just didn't find it funny. If there's one thing I can't stand it's people who try to help me "see the humor" in something. I 'get it', I just don't like it...

Well, I finished it, and I laughed out loud many times. But then, I am English, and I recognised about 50% of those points in view of my ex-girlfriend and me.

I have to admit, being female and reading it from a males point of view was richly hallarious. Caught myself laughing out loud..
I'm afraid I can relate to a few issues that were hashed out, lol...
Of course My hubby and I are different in a since which makes it easy to relate, on that he is a walking websters dictionary.. schollar...On the other hand, I lived in backwoods Tenn. too long. He is truely annal about word usage, and spelling. Therefore he corrects me on a constant basis that 'reckon', 'y'all', 'yonder' and 'welps' discribing a flea bite ain't in the norm... I could go on, but .....

This was the second time I tried to read through it and just found it tedious. And I even read the faq and looked around the rest of his site. I recognize he was using hyborbole and all but I just failed to find it all that funny.
