[OT] TurboTax

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but you might want to have second thoughts about buying TurboTax this year. I'm just not too wild about low-level software (the SafeCast/C-Dilla technlogy) on my drive. I don't think it's **that** big of a deal, but I have better things to do than worry about my CD-RW drive having problems after "uninstalling" TurboTax.

They're right about this one. Intuit, you're NOT Microsoft. Gates can do it because he has a monopoly. Quicken is one my fave products but looks like Intuit has shot themselves in the foot this time around.

Thanks for the heads up. I was going to buy it htis week. I would never have thought to look at a review of software I have used for years.
