Mainly I hike, and I manage a pick up basketball game now and then. I'd do more, but I can't find anyone my age who wants to participate in the sports I enjoy. Unfortunately, the only sports my colleagues are involved in and softball and soccer, so I'm short on common interest. Softball bores me twice as much as baseball does (and that's saying something), and I'm just not built for soccer. Hockey is also big around here, but as much as I love the sport, when you put me on skates I'm a danger to myself and others, which wipes that out as an option.
Took kali for a while, but it required too much money and too much driving every week to get to the only place in Central NY that offered classes in anything other than Tae Kwon Do or heavily Americanized karate (think the bad-guy dojo from "The Karate Kid").
Man, I miss playing American football. Maybe I can track down an adult rugby club in the area...
