Time for the final 10. Whoo boy:)

21) Test- Hm that coulve been a lot cooler

Test went after Austin first, kicking him in the corner. Val joined in. Test mistakenly gave Val a big boot. Austin eliminated Val with a clothesline. Austin then threw Test over the top rope. Go austin!!!

(22) Triple H The amn is here,.

Austin waited for The Game's arrival. He got his full-fledged ring entrance since nobody was left in the ring other than Austin. Ok that was jsut dumb. I love HHH but jeez this is for the title shot at Wrestlmania. It took Triple H almost two full minutes to make it to the ring.

(23) Hurricane

Hurricane went for a double chokeslam on both Austin and Triple H. The crowd laughed as he struggled to lift both men at once. Triple H and Austin then easily tossed him over the top rope. Nice spot. That was quite a good scene. Showed how weak Hurricane really is though.

(24) Faarooq

Faarooq tried to eliminated Austin at first. Austin gave him a Stunner and Triple H clotheslined him over the top rope to eliminate him.

(25) Mr. Perfect

Ross said this is quite a way for Perfect to return to the WWF after "years of obscurity since leaving the WWF." Years??? HA! the man is back. Show them what ya got buddy!

(26) Kurt Angle Hm Curt Hennig, Kurt Angle. A conspiracy. Mindless brawling ensues.

(27) Big Show

Show quickly chokeslammed Perfect. He grabbed both Triple H and Austin by the throat, but they kicked out of his grip and together whipped him into the ropes. He clotheslined them both to the mat. Angle went for the Olympic slam, but Show elbowed out of it and then pressed Angle in the air. Triple H kicked Show before he could eliminate Angle. Ross explained that move by suggesting Triple H "saved" Angle because he feels Big Show is a bigger threat than Angle. OOOOK maybe in 2000 but man even Hurricane can beat this guy;)Show headbutted Angle. Show chokeslammed Triple H.

(28) Kane

Kane picked up Big Show and dropped him over the top rope. Nice spot.Angle then eliminated Kane. Damn that was quick. The announcers raved about Kane's strength.

Ok the final 2

29 Rob Van Dam
Yeah man!

Big crowd pop for Van Dam. He entered hte ring by giving Angle a Five Star Splash. Van Dam then hit Perfect iwht a spin wheel kick. RVD slammed Austin and then gave him a Rolling Thunder. Triple H caught RVD with a Pedigree. Naturally. Man bang the daughter bang the rising star. Geez.

(30) Booker T
Hmm well BNooker lost. Number 30 never wins;)

Booker eliminated Van Dam (!!!) I seriously did not think he would do anything:)then did the Spinarooni, but Austin met him with a stunner and Booker bumped over the top rope for a huge pop. Damn bye Book. I dont care Perfect is still in there.

Austin gave Triple H a catapult into the corner turnbuckle. Angle gave Austin a series of German suplexes. Angle and Perfect stomped away at Austin.
Yeah baby!!!

The Final Five at this point are Perfect:), Angle, Austin, Triple H< and technically Maven.

Angle eliminated Austin from behind next as he fought Perfect against the ropes. Hell yeah!!! that is so a Perfect elimination.

Austin returned to the ring with a chair and hit Angle, then Perfect, then Triple H. Angle was about to eliminate Perfect, but Perfect remained on the apron. Pefect then gave Angle the Perfectplex. Oh yes sweetness. Triple H then eliminated Perfect, tossing him out from behind. What a jerk!!! Ah well my boy HHH is in their. heck I like Maven too:)

It came down to Triple H and Angle (and, technically, Maven). Angle backdropped Triple H over the top rope, but Triple H held on and his feet didn't touch. Hm flash back of Micheals bulldog Rumble 95 I beleive. He returned to the ring. As Angle celebrated, Triple H returned to the ring, attacked him from behind, and clotheslined him over the top rope for the (tainted) win. Man I wonder how Shwan was feeling at WWF new York? Hey what the hell about Maven???

Match ratin **1/2. I give it that much cause it was damn enjoyable after Austin came in. Although Maven elimination of taker is worhth the PPV alone:) But the main problem is Maven. Where the hell did he go? Is he lost in the building?

Hunter Wins!

I missed the beginning of this PPV, but I saw everything from the Vince/Flair match to the end. Since I missed the fluff and filler (women's match, etc), I really got into this PPV, especially the Rumble itself (which has been one of the better RR events in quite a few years, IMO).

More importantly, Triple H won the rumble! Sweet! I've been a Triple H fan for a long time now, and it was nice to see him add a Royal Rumble victory to his growing list of acheivements.

Now if Jericho can somehow retain the title(s) until WM, that'd be perfect. But alas, as you mentioned earlier, he probably is toast at No Way Out.

Hey Triple H mate! :)

Unfortunately I didn't get to see the Rumble (hopefully as a PPV spectacle here it did badly enough so as not to warrant payment next time!?) ;)

Anyway, thanks for the match by match analysis! :)

Pity Mr Perfect didn't win! :D

But at least Jericho is still champ...at least until No Way Out.

Triple H is main eventing at Wrestlemania too!

Hopefully I will get to see Maven kicking Taker over the top rope on Raw!?

Vince: "Ok, what can I do to screw up wrestling again. Let me think, I could have everyone kiss my ass... no, already did that... Oh, I know. I can work really hard to bring Hall, Nash, and Hogan back to wrestling and then announce it to the world before I actually bring them back and completely ruin the surprise factor that this move should have produced by talking to a freaking mirror for two hours."

Damn, and I actually thought things would get better.

Well, I guess I can always look forward to Hall and Undertaker wrestling and seeing who will "no-sell" the most.

Wrestling doesn't need more talent, just better use of what they do have. Better stories and plots would be welcome too.
Right now there's very many wrestler's but each show just recycles the same 6-10 in the same matches over and over and over.
Not sure what to think with this NWO thing, is this just the alliance part 2?

DITTO...

This is exactly why I've lost interest in wrestling. For me to say that, that's something. I grew up watching it. There hasn't been a time that I haven't watched it. Even when WCW was at it's ego-stroking worst, I could still watch it for the crusierweights and some of the undercards.

Now, however, I can't even look at the WWF anymore. It's the same matches over and over. We've got the Undertaker who's getting too old to be in the ring. The Rock (my dislike of whom has never been a secret) who knows all of 3 moves. The good tag teams have been broken up (leaving us with Chuck & Billy and the Dudleys). We have Test being forced down our throats each and every week.

As Vince's ego gets more and more out of control, the booking (and writing) gets more incoherent, and Vince bends ever more backwards to please the aging "big names", the feeling that I'm really watching WCW grows.

But for all the problems WCW had, it wasn't saddled with Vince's "big man only" mentality. Sure, the cruiserweights hit the glass ceiling in WCW, but at least their matches went on the air. Bischoff may have been a total idiot, but at least he had enough sense to give us a Chavo vs Rey, Jr. or a Kidman vs Juvi match. Vince seems to think we actually want to watch Test stumble arond the ring like a younger version of Kevin Nash.

Speaking of Nash, can anyone hear the overall quality of the WWF going into total freefall? You just know there'll be a Nash vs Test PPV main event down the line.

Destruction of the WWF!?

Okay I finally got to see Smackdown last night.

With Vince hogging 20 minutes of the show and eventually revealing what we already knew, one question springs to mind.

Vince ranted that if anyone would destroy the WWF it would be him and the tool of this destruction would be the NWO. But how exactly is introducing three aging wrestlers going to supposedly bring about the destruction of the WWF!? Am I missing something!? Will Hall, Nash and Hogan be alone!?

I am also curious what will be Triple H's role in all this.
