Upper stuff.

Curls - Felt weak and tired lol. I need to do more of this as its not going anywhere.
Bench - EASY 230, and good reps on 250 again. Win.
Dips - I questioned myself, kept it at 3 x 10 - 75s.
Flys - Same, 160s.
Incline - 70, 75, 80s x 10. At this point I was hurting.
Tri Extension - Usual.

Ended with a Delt Lateral into Curls into Delt Forward Lift thing till burnout, light weights but it feel good.

Tomorrow, typical light stuff, focus on the traps/delts/bicep with 3 sets of deadlift to 'wake up' at the start.
How's the shoulder feeling?

Made it to the gym yesterday.
 

Yeah, that sucked about as much as expected.

Shoulder stuff back to back is a mistake I won't make again.

Looking back, yesterday was way harder than a week ago. I had also increased legs this week, and was really feeling burnt out. On top of the increase in Bench/Incline, I was maintaining everything else, so something had to give.

I start my diet on Monday I think, and need to turn Saturday into a cardio/core only day.

Everything is sore right now, joints, all of it, lol

Did circuits of dumbbell bench, dumbbell inclined curls, and dumbbell behind the head skull crushers on Saturday, followed by three sets of leg press +calf raises. Good session which had me staggering after the leg work, which is always satisfying. Not much DOMS yet, so I'm itching a bit to get back tonight.

I also was lazy and rested/skipped my PT exercises yesterday, though I did them before gym on Saturday and got back on that horse this morning (and adding reps as it's the start of the week), so more work there.

At Grove yesterday I also took an oath to hike up at least three mountains before Samhain. In 2021 and 2023 I did ten summits each, but I haven't left myself as much time this year and I have other stuff taking up weekend time. But the oath will motivate me to get my butt back up on some mountains.

I needed a break day, I didn't take one, it was hot, so slept terribly, poor meals yesterday.

Add it up, and I was dragging ass the whole workout.

Must recover.
 


Had a good session last night- circuits of dumbbell bench, dumbbell inclined curls, dumbbell behind the head skull crushers, and dumbbell lateral raises, with some additional drop set reps. Tweaked my form a little and added reps to my dumbbell bench, which felt nice. OTOH I pushed hard and have a little shoulder and neck pain I'm not in love with.
