Pact Initiate/Student of Malediction

I have a sticky problem with these two feats in combination. Pact Initiate lets you choose a pact, I chose Fey, and I picked up Feytouched. Student of Malediction lets you get Warlocks Curse 1/encounter. If the cursed target dies do I get to Misty Step or not? If I use a warlock power (likely through some other MC feats) to curse additional targets does it trigger Misty Step? The reason I ask is because nothing in the text specifically says I gain the Pact Boon feature, but I have both the Pact and the Curse. My character can't currently use most of his PP's powers unless this works.

I am afraid it doesn't state it explicitely, it doesn't give you the Pact Boon.

I think it would be a fine houserule, though. So ask your DM if he would allow it.
I think the Student of Malediction feat is a little weak compared to other multiclass feats that also grant the damage bonuses of the respective Striker classes.
