When painting miniatures, I'd always see the texture of the brush strokes in the paint (especially on lighter colors). It got annoying, so I did some research and read that using better paints that would thin properly would help. I bought a set of Vallejo, because they were recommended by people who painted much better than I did.
What's the best way to thin them?
I tried using tap water at about 1:1, but it was still pretty thick and showed the brush strokes. When I went to 2:1 or more, sliding the brush across the mini would leave a wet streak and a few patches of color.
