Parents: What cartoon/character/movie/song are you sick of?

I was just thinking about how my son, almost 3, watches a lot of the same movies and cartoons over and over. Honestly, he watches a lot of shows that I like, like Jimmy Neutron and the Fairly OddParents. But he also watches stuff that I am really, really sick of. If I see one more Elmo movie, I'm going to scream!

Anyway, what does your little tyke watch or listen to that just drives you insane but you let them do it because they enjoy it so?

Fortunately the stuff my kids watch over and over is all pretty good. A Bug's Life; Monsters, inc.; Bambi; Sleeping Beauty (the dragon fight scene rocks, BTW ). I didn't realize until just now that they're all Disney productions...

The one show they like that I hate is Dragon Tales. Smarmy and just bad, with annoying characters.

I hate, HATE, (I'm using the word Hate for a cartoon here) HATE!!!, The Rugrats. I hate them.

If any of these snot nosed little twerps were my kids.....OMG I don't even want to think about it.

Only tangentally related but I have a four-year-old nephew who may be suffering from a condition known as Asperger Syndrome (so he'll probably end up being a mathematician, like his father). The thing is, when his family went on hols to the Maldives earlier this year, getting there involved a twelve hour flight. My bro was worried that once something set the tyke off on a wailing, everybody was going to feel the pain and that flight would seem very, very long indeed. But, as they were settling in the kids and looking for things on the integrated tvs for them to watch, they found Toy Story 2. So, my nephew was set for the first couple of hours, at least. As soon as it ended, he watched it again. Then he watched it again. And again. Then he watched it two more times, for good measure. Twelve hours later, the plane touched down and there hadn't been a peep out of him.

One case of blissful repetition...

I can't stand Caillou. One of the most annoying shows on PBS if you ask me.
Boo-Bah doesn't annoy me so much as weirds me out.

My son is now 11, and it's Yu-Gi-Oh, DragonballZ, GT, XYZ..whatever the series is now..., Teen Titans, Megas XLR (I think that's right), Duck Dodgers (which rocks!) and Tom and Jerry. He still watches Pokemon sometimes, but gone are the days of watching Toy Story 6 times in a row (thank God).

My oldest is an adult now, and my youngest is a teenager. That said, the answer for me is all the blasted Anime. From Dragonball to Akira to various TV Series on Cartoon Network, the entire form makes my teeth itch and my eyes bleed. But my kids love it. Bleh.
