*After Weapon hits hard, Siobhan tries again:*

"Please hear me out! Stop fighting now so I can tend to our wounded brother--I don't want him to die today--I want to help him...please?"

"Sis, I think the time for diplomacy has passed. They have chosen their path."

Stulgar shifts into a more lithe, animalistic form, and attacks again, missing badly.

OOC: AC goes up to 18 with the shift. Stulgar Attack (1 Handed) (1d20+4=9, 1d8+3=5)

"They are our brothers too, Brother," Siobhan shakes her head, "I will not fight them. They are confused by the feeling of the shift, but surely they will stop so we can heal their fallen."

Ignoring the pleas for mercy for the shifters, Ahki brings swings his club again and again. He hears only the pounding of his heart in his ears and sees only the enemies in front of him. His frenzied attack never connects with his foes, instead his club strikes only water sending splashes of filth flying into the air.

"They are not my brothers, and they are trying to kill us all..." tells the dwarf as he swing his morningstar at the shifter next to him (the evil one, not the borother and sister )

"Lass, y' can't hold all yer race to be yer blood brothers." Mordin exclaims, noting her desire to bring peace to the combatants. He holds his ground, dagger at the ready as he tries to fend off the attacking shifter.

"Ye won't be doin' any listenin' t' spirits when yer dead in the water.

Round 2, end

[Round 1, addendum]

When the opportunity presented itself Mordin was able to attack. His blade strikes true inflicting a greivous wound. The shifter who had just managed to stand goes down later that round under the combined assault of Weapon and Mordin.

[Round 2]

Weapon, with his opponent felled for trying to stand moves past Mordin to attack the shifter below Stulgar. In one fell swing the warforged knocks the shifter unconscious. The razorclaw falls into the slimy water.

Mordin stops attacking, to see if the last one will give up.

The shifter up on the platform next to Stulgar stops and backs up a few paces, appauled at how handily his comrades and his employer fell.

Siobhan attempts to pursuade the last standing shifter to stop attacking works even before she speaks.

And then the sewage comes barreling out of the valve right beside Siobhan. Completely surprised by the wave of refuse, Siobhan is knocked off of the platform and falls down into the water next to Weapon. Weapon manages to hold his footing and pick Siobhan up out of the waste.

[sblock=OOC]With very little damage dealt by the enemies and three down in less than 18 seconds, the last one heeds Siobhan's words.

(OOC: What about when she moved up to the stairs to block the passage? There's no way she was standing in one of those spots by the gates...Also, according to Akhi's actions, he's going to keep attacking the one that surrendered. I'm glad to not go there, as Siobhan will attack Akhi if he does, but just so you know it might come up )
