Recycled art is not cool. It's not cool when WotC does it, and it's not cool when Paizo does it. I know their budgets can't be compared, but I thought they'd go the full monty for their flagship product.

Never go full monty.

The new layout seems to remind me of the 3rd edition of the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting (which is good IMO) and Dwarves also seem to have lost the Keen Senses bonus to their Perception for taste and touch based checks.

I didn't really mind the racial mugshot in the beta but they have cleaned it up in the final version. Except for the gnome which looks too snazzy with that haircut.

Human chick in the beta made me go 'oooh yeah' but now its the half-elf chick that does it. But who cares. ;)

Pathfinder Gnomes are a force of nature. They are wild, chaotic and utterly alien in outlook. There skin, hair and eyes can be any color found in nature and does not seem to be limited by parent's color.

So I thought the new gnome fit. There is something chaotic and a bit off about it.Perfect.

I love 'em too. One of the best re-envisioning of gnomes I've seen.

I wounder why people make such a fuss about skin color. "Green half-orc? Bah. Pink gnomes? Mäh..."

Why not just change the skin color to your liking?

Also wondering why the Preview does not appear on the News-Page of Enworld, but rather a "silly" endless listing of all the MM2 monsters...

No love for PRPG here?

Dude, we had a multi-page flame about something called "Golden Wyvern". Of course we discuss the Gnomes´ hair.

There is no flame from me, I'm merely stating my preferences. And it's not about the hair, it's just the whole way gnomes are depicted... but then I'm in he minority who sees nothing wrong with the way gnomes are depicted in AD&D.

Speaking seriously here: I'm looking forward to full-blown punk rock gnomes. Spikes, mohawks, maybe Vyvyan-style forehead studs or even bringing the "mushroom" back that Kylie from Planescape sported. Hell, branching out, maybe even some Kim Nekroman flat-tops and afros.

The new gnomes could actually make this work.
