The new blog entry is up... looks like we'll be seeing similar entries for Stone Giants and Dragons, among other things. All in all, PATHFINDER is looking pretty cool. And it comes out roughly the same time as my birthday. Sweet.

For some reason they remind me of "Stitch" from the "Lilo and Stitch" movie. Not to say that's a bad thing. Whether I run the Pathfinder AP or not, I can see stealing this "new" monster for my home campaigns. I have previously been using the Birthright campaign setting goblin archtype. These new goblins have a lot of roleplay potential.
I was trying to put my finger on what they reminded me of...

Yeah, they are kinda similar, haha :p

The info in the blog looks fantastic, but this...

I think that gods and demons (somewhat interchangeable terms in our world)

...has got me drooling, quivering, and grinning like a maniac all at once. (And if you think that's either easy or comfortable, you're gravely mistaken.) I know almost nothing about this campaign world, and it's already shaping up to be one of my favorites. :D

Yeah. I really liked that part, myself... I mean, it's something I've been doing for years, but it's nice to know that a potential campaign world meshes well with your own ideas.

So far, about theo nly thing about PATHFINDER I don't like is how it's not going to be easy to submit for it. Since everything's tied up in the path, it sounds as if you'll need to be assigned writing pieces... if you're an unknown (such as yours truly), good luck.

Well, we don't know what the process is going to be as of yet (and believe you me, I'm waiting with baited breath for the first sign of submission guidelines ;)). But there's always the Game Mastery modules, and I seem to recall someone saying that the bestiaries in Pathfinder will be easier to get into than the actual adventure material.

True enough, I suppose. Maybe I'll just start putting together some monsters (or use some of the monsters I've already written for my games over the years) and put together some sort of portfolio. I really like Paizo's stuff (the AP has completely renewed my love of D&D!), and I wanna get in on something like this early in.

Pu tme down in the column of people who like the goblins new look. Vaguely cute, but you can still see them hacking apart a peasant family while squealing with glee.

My only nitpick, the last line of the song should be "We be Goblins-- you be food." That's just my opinion. When I sing it in goblin voice, that sounds more natural.
