figured as much. :) Now to decide on keeping the cloak or going with the domain power... Hmmm if I can turn my Scarab of Protection into a Clock of Protection straight across with no change in cost as they are both protection I just might do it. So can I?

Well, the Cloak of Protection is an existing, accepted item, so I have no problem with you using that, rather than a scarab.

PA, well yeah back in 2nd edition it was, but I'm talking about a cloak that functions like the “Scarab of Protection”. (DMG pg. 266)

The cost should be the same as both slots are designed for protection.

So, did we have a party concept?

GoldenEagle - Human Paladin 20
Endur - Human Sorceress 15/Archmage 5 OR
Endur - Human Barbarian 20
Velenne - Adv Xill 17/Fighter 2/Barbarian 1
WizWyrm - Rogue 13/Horizon Walker 7
Dalamar - Fighter 12/Dervish 8
Serpenteye - Human Cleric 20

They're both slotted items; I don't particularly care where an item is slotted, so long as it makes sense (no circlets of striding and springing, for example).

We met at a bar by chance and a mysterious character offered us a job? :p

On a more serious note, how excactly do we count HP? Since 75% of 10 makes 7,5, I was wondering if we round up (8HP per level), round down at the end(7,5HP per level), or round down (7HP per level).

Round down at the end. If you have 10d10+9d6, that's 10x7.5 +9x4.5, or 75+40.5, or 115.5, rounded to 115.

I had planned for my character to have been saved from death by the worshipper of Pelor. Now it seems the priest in the party has no god. ;)

It would be the type of thing where Antillus now owes a Life-debt which entails protection (and later friendship) but not exactly servitude for seventy years or until death.

As far as party concept, maybe we're divinely appointed protectors of Sigil? Sort of like the people who keep the hub at the center of the Great Wheel safe from those who would destroy it and send the planes themselves into chaos?

I'm afraid that divinely appointed protectors of Sigil would have to be a lot more powerful than you are. Anything that could threaten the City of Doors makes most demigods wet themselves thinking about them.

Well, considering that the Lady of Pain is the protector/overlord/ruler of Sigil, and one of the things she does is prevent all deities from entering, yeah...

Cool, thanks for your approval. :)

Can you do me a favor? Email me back that armor from the Underdark book I sent you? I think it was something serpent.

Also, I'm not sure how much leveling we will be doing in this game... (Guessing slim to none as PbP games go very slowly.) How do you feel about having more than one PrC as I'm close to finishing this one and I've yet to find epic advancement for it...

I can't think of anything to orginal... Just age old "friends" which is really nothing more than a off of Dragonlance Chronicles...
