I think I'll be going with the Dervish (from Complete Warrior as you probably have already guessed). I'll start writing up the info right now.

If nobody wants to play a cleric, we can probably get by without one. Between some wishful thinking by a Sorceress and various Paladin healing abilities, we should have most of the cleric stuff covered.

There is, but it's the last. I'd like character concepts, and just as important, an overall party concept, as quickly as possible.

With Rynin being a diplomat and a Horizon walker in the party it might be easy to send us through sigil on a diplomatic mission as a hook. I will play the paladin not as a stereotypical paladin, but as an emisarry or diplomat, who will some day become one of Pelor's Divine Emissaries.
