Paxus' Epic/High Level Game (3.5): Closed

I would like to play in a High Level or Epic Game as I have never had a chance to do this in 3.0/3.5

I am looking for a DM and I think 4-6 players would be good. I would like to play a Paladin in a high level party (17-23 level) which is good in alignment(I have never had fun playing evil PCs).

Is there any interest out there in this type of game with people posting 5-8 times per week?

I'll be willing to DM. I'd like to start at 20th level (to give my ELH time to arrive), with the following rules: 3.5 basic, with the bard from Monte Cook's Book of Eldritch Might 2. Prestige classes are to be actually prestigious, and all must be cleared explicitly with me. If there is no implied organization for the PrC, you may create one subject to my approval, or I can make one for it. The Mystic Theurge, Forsaker, Eldritch Knight, and Arcane Trickster are explicitly prohibited. Races are the standard, plus any I explicitly approve; likewise, any template may be submitted for my approval. I'm not going to enforce an "all-good" alignment, but the party must be cohesive: you've been in a party with each other for at least the last ten levels, and you should all get along. (This doesn't mean you like each other, simply that you don't get into serious conflicts) 32 point buy, starting cash 760,000, no item more than 200,000, only three items more than 75,000.

I think I might be interested in this. What sort of game are you planning? And will it be Material Plane only? I'm considering a horizon walker or something from Manual of the Planes.

Leadership is fine, but cohorts are just as vulnerable to Rule 0 as players.

I will, once we have a party.

The type of game is pretty much dependent on what the characters are. I was thinking of pitting you against vile cultists (using BoVD), but that'll only happen if the players want it. A horizon walker would be fine, but then you'll need to come up with an order of them, probably either followers of Fharlangn or an Explorer's Guild.

One observation about PBP. I know it takes time to get a high level group together, but if things take too long, the game never really get's started,so...we should try to set a day we want to start by as a guideline.

I have a character that I only need to convert. How long do you think it will take to be ready on the campaign side?

A beautiful human princess whose will is translated into magical effects.

To implement this, a Human Sorceress with the Archmage PRC from the DMG.

What campaign world would this take place in? custom? Greyhawk? FR? Her connection to magic would depend on the campaign. i.e. in FR, she has a connection to Mystara. In a Fey campaign, she has spent time in the Fey world. "Sleeping Beauty?" etc. In Greyhawk, she might be connected to the Fey or the Circle of Eight or something else.

Custom, but fairly standard overall; more like FR than Greyhawk in the number and power of deities.
