That's for the 3.0 version of the Spellsword, sadly. If I remember correctly it was in Tome and Blood, while the 3.5 version is in the Complete Warrior.
You are right, I didn't even bother to check the source on wizard's website and unfortunately they haven't released any PrC in the Complete Warrior yet on their epic insight. I had to make the Heartwarder epic progression I imagine you'll have to the same but at least you have something to base it off of. :)

True enough. Actually, it looks insanely easy to handle - the spell failure percentage increases by the same increments and at the same levels, and it seems the biggest change will be determining whether I'll get bonus feats or additional channeling/day. Bonus feats aren't going to require a list, because the 3.5 writeup already stipulates that the one bonus feat the Spellsword gets in the first ten levels has to be either a fighter bonus feat or a metamagic feat.

The channeling seems a little irregular to make into a progression, so what may work best is bonus feats every third level, which may be any feat on the Epic Fighter list, any epic metamagic feat, Improved Spell Capacity, or Improved Channel Spell (a new feat, which allows one additional use of Channel Spell per day, and requires Multiple Channel Spell as a class ability).

Also of note, this issue came up early when the party went to bed down in Abn-Ratep's prison. From the SRD:

—Outsiders breathe, but do not need to eat or sleep (although they can do so if they wish).

So there ya go! :)

Yeah I saw that the other day in the glossy for the MM 3.5 as I was finally looking to see what all was involved in being fey. (Brystasia is a fey by the way.) I didn’t find anything to useful as I don’t have any HD that isn’t a level and all the other fey powers where already listed on the template I used for a half-nymph.

I’m kind of curious of something if a vampire or half-dragon takes a class that has a lower hit dice than what they receive from their template, which do they use? I imagine they use the class one but it seems to really hurt races that only have class levels.

If it is an inherited template, as the half-anything classes are, you use class hit dice whenever applicable. Undead, and possibly other acquired templates, are a special case where all hit dice are changed, regardless of source.

No one has posted any preference for whether I'm playing Conan, his son, or another Cimmerian. Last call for opinions before I make a choice.

I was just thinking about this... literally as in check your email. :D

I really think you should play your own Cimmerian as I don't want Brystasia to have to compete with Red Sonja. :D

Then again I'm not even sure if they live in the same world outside of marvel comics...
