PBP for one?

Woulda been great though. A lot of potential in a 1 on 1 pbp.
I agree there is just kegs and kegs of potentially waiting to be untapped in a game like that. To same minded personalities and plenty of free time and it would be like writing your own novel. :D

Brother Shatterstone, ar you interested in playing in a game liek that still? I'd love to either be a playeror a DM in such an adventure/campaine.

It's not a bad idea, single player PbP. I've tried both playing and running one on one games, although both died rather quickly when my player/DM went AWOL. Still, we made a fair bit of progress in not much time, and I've always rather wanted to try the idea out.

I think it does work better with some concepts that others. The game I ran was based on the Dragon magazine knightly campaign concept, which really does benefit from letting a single character shine over all the others. Then you can have the DM playing subsidiary support characters such as the knight's retinue.

I thought I was going to start one with Creamsteak but I havn't heard from him in awhile. I'm still down to play something like this. I can post multiple times per day, have access to nearly every sourcebook and many dragon mags, and am in quite a few other PbP's.

Wow, multiple requist in such a short period of time.

I also can post multiple ties during the day, 5 times a week (weekends are family time... or more acurately, give the wife a break form the 5 kids time). I also am in quite a few other games at this tiem, but have been known to disappears for weeks on end (happened twice so far, and as you can see, I have not been a mamber for that long).

SHould we pick lots? Play rock paper scisors?

Let's do it Jarval. I have just the plot in mind, I think it will work really well. We can run it on my site so we don't need to hunt for the thread every time we want to post.

OK, let's do it :) I'm on AIM at the moment, so maybe we can talk about it there?

Sounds like you have not heard about the subscription page. If you are signed on, then you can click on the User CP link near the top of the page and it will show you the threads that have been updated in the last month that you yourself have posted to. This is the one that I book marked so I don't have to search.
