I don't recall from the film or the first episode but was Vito calling Oz "Penguin" the first time?

I was suprised to discover this show, didnt know about it til this week.

I liked Colin Farells take on the character as a fundamentally unlikeable survivor. I liked their take on Sofia Falcone too.

Really hoping their Victor isnt a take on Victor Zsasz, that would be terrible casting, especially given how well Gotham did with it.

Just watched the first two episodes with my Dad. What would be the problem with Vic become Zsasz? That you think of Zsasz as a born psychopath?

I dunno that there’s a problem so much as that the only suggestion that he is is because he has the same first name. The character is called Victor Aguiler.

The character design for Zsasz and story of how he became a serial killer for hire has been pretty well established in the comics, I dont think it would be well serve by appending it as a minor-plotline in Penguins story.

Plus as others have said the only connection between the characters is being named Victor - my comment was just random thought really, not a core discussion point
