"Well, as I told, it is a stroy, I could tell the story of a mercifull king and named it with the most monstruous warleader the creation have seen and it wouldn't change who was that man.

Is it not possible just to speak a moment. I don't want to disobey your order, simply you to hear and understand our point of view. After that, if you want to kick us out of this forest, we will cooperate."

[SBLOCK]Ok, not sure if and when I had to roll. Bluff roll: 32
I've also tried to change the attitude of the soldier, to have him more cooperative. i think I have my minute of speech, so I'll make the roll and choose if you wnat it or not. Diplomacy roll to change the soldier attitude: 38[/SBLOCK]
(OOC: I actually already rolled you a Diplomacy check against this guy--the one I rolled was a 12 instead of a 16, but still very high. He basically started out as Hostile to Rinaldo, especially Rinaldo's spooky words of power. Now he is in the Unfriendly/Indifferent range, but he still has orders, and a soldier probably would not defy direct orders even if Helpful (though maybe). (The reason he's bordering on Unfriendly rather than Friendly is because nobody will do what he has asked like four times, instead siccing Rinaldo on him to try to bamboozle him into leaving without getting the answer he came for, which makes him extremely suspicious).)

"No. I already know the situation. Though you are not welcome here, you are not technically trespassing on sacred ground at the moment. However, we would prefer you to leave. In any case, I want to hear where your friend is from someone else. Not you. Now please. I'm not going to listen to another word you have to say until I get what I came for. In fact, if you must know, I shouldn't have listened to as much as I did, but your words sounding convincing. If you are the next person to talk, I will assume the worst."

(OOC: @Erekose--that's the elves' idea. They know Rinaldo can outbluff anyone they send, so they wanted to watch someone answer who might have a visible tell or is otherwise a poor bluffer)

Rinaldo only returns an honest and sadned smiles, noding at him to tell he has understand. He then looks at the others for a moment, wondering who will dare to speak, knowing the silence of his friend might speak as much as a bad comment. For a moment, Rinaldo wished to see his old friend Nurlan among us again.

"I don't understand this 'sacred ground' thing. Who is it you restrict from the area? Just merchants? All non-elves? If I wasn't with these guys, could I go in or not?"

KOs been MIA for a few days.
(How typical of that guy. )
"I don't think they'll hear you. I've tried to get a word... actually, it seems there is a lull now. You know, Rinaldo, you should work on being less enthralling. As I was trying to say, yes, our companion is on the way to Medibaria. Not that I think that it will be any help, but I was overruled.

You know, that play you mentioned - that sounds extremely close to a story about Psergei I've heard during my time in the "empty temple" of Otun, usurping an older god's portfolio.

Ironwolf produces a tight grin, imagining Ashnar usurping an older god's portfolio.
(Freudian slip, perhaps? :p)
Ashnar looks at Ironwolf's grin a bit perplexed, then realizes that her sentence was off. "No, not me, Psergei."
