Pink Floyd Reunion

RandomPrecision

First Post
They're back again, first time since the early 80's, and things weren't very hot then. The Final Cut even says on the cover "A Requiem for the Post War Dream - by Roger Waters - Performed by Pink Floyd". The Live 8 concert in London was the catalyzing event, it seems.

Groovy, I say.

Anyone else on the forums care?

Finally they can call themselves Pink Floyd legitimately. Pink Floyd wasn't without Mr Waters.

I saw them without Waters and it was a phenomenal show. Of course I've always liked David Gilmour more. They had the best sound I've ever heard.

PS

Wow. No, seriously... I mean, WOW.

This is very hard to believe.

I guess I'll have a chance to see them together, after all.

I didn't expect this in the least.

Wow.

I guess I'm gonna have to start saving some cash for what will likely turn into a world tour/grandaddy of all money grabs.

But this will be one money grab I'll happily concede to.

Happily.

Wow.

Well, I didn't think I would see ever this. It must be one of the signs of the apocalypse. It's awesome, but I'd really like to see the group of them get together for another album.

Well most of the songs they were playing were written by Roger. If anyone had a right to use the name Pink Floyd after they broke up, it was him.
