Mick looks confused at the priest's answer and continually opens his mouth to contradict the man, only to snap it shut each time. At the end, though, Mick says, "What if my parents can't come? My da's sick."
"Then ask permission." He turns to walk away, away from the docks. Presumably back to this 'House of Leve', which would be located in the richer district of town, up the slope of the mountain.
With the old guy gone, Garreth turns away and wanders back over to Mary and Vandir.
"Well, now we know where to find the rest of the priests, and we have an excuse to go there too. Maybe if we looked around there, we could find the ones that took the seed. . ."

"Here I am! I just figured that if they want me, I shouldn't let them see me. Looking around the temple seems like a good idea, but I gotta be careful."
Edwina ponders for a second, then takes her knife out and starts hacking at her hair. "If they think I'm a boy, they won't think I'm me!" She looks a little sad about cutting her hair, but there's a certain grim determination about her action...
"Ya know" Vandir likes down at the tiny Edwina an idea forming in his head and a grin on his face "with you being so small we could wrap you up and pretend like your a human baby if one of us carried you. Just gotta make sure you only talk baby noises but..."
Edwina looks indignantly at Vandir. "There is no way I will be bundled up and trussed around like some doll. If things go wrong, we all have to be ready to run, and there's no way I'll be able to get out of that in a hurry."
She finishes shearing her hair, stows her knife, and tells Gareth, "Let's go."
