I really thought folks would be more interested in the Spelljammer.
Spelljamming craft have been known to reach Sigil since 2e's In the Cage: A Guide to Sigil. The description of Imel's Happy Tongue restaurant (pages 81-82) tells the story of Imel’s efforts to obtain squid for a guest of his factol. Unfortunately, miscommunication leads him to accidentally order a squidship, which is eventually delivered to a loading platform near the Great Bazaar.

While I don't think it's in an official Planescape book, I believe an article from Polyhedron Magazine back in the day mentions a portal connected to the Ditch in Sigil that both connects to Wildspace and is large enough for spelljammers to pass through.

Don't have the exact source, sadly...

Now I am thinking about the "hellbred" as PC specie. Maybe these can create strongholds in the infernal planes, and later these become demiplanes next to the Gatetowns.

And I wonder if after the rewritten core books and the Vecna's event the D&D cosmology is going to be rebooted. This mean some planes could suffer radical changes, and some new demiplanes to be created to allow planar adventures for low level players.

What if the elemental wood demiplane was created by a planar rift between the sun and the clay planes?

Can Athasians travel to the earth plane to mining metal? Of course they wouldn't be wellcome.

* I can't imagine the surprised face of players when they realises their future Planescape game to be based in "happypaste".
