I'm really hoping we see the new races become legal for AL play. So looking forward to playing a goblin if/when its allowed.
They already are, its been confirmed by by the latest AL player's guide thingy.
I'm pretty sure I'm mostly going to ban them. Monstrous races, for the most part, don't fit the game I'm running. That said, I have long offered tabaxi as a race option in my game, and catfolk will probably fit the bill. And I haven't seen the list of what they're offering, but I might be open to orc pcs because there is a tribe of orcs allied to the final city in my setting, or at least maybe allied to it, depending on how an insurrection currently happening plays out.

Dragonborn can't even really be called a "playable race." They're more like a playable species.Same here. Bad enough dragonborn and Tieflings are there. Don't need any three-kreen or wemic PCs in my games![]()
