D&D 5E Player characters teaching (arcane) spells to each other

What if the wizard covers the costs for the bard to make him some scrolls during downtime so that he can add them to his spell books? It's not outright sharing since there is a cost involved in both time and money.

Can a Wizard actually learn a spell from a scroll written by a Bard? The two classes have completely different casting mechanisms, so perhaps the written instructions aren't compatible?

I know this is against RAW. A scroll of "X" can be read by any spellcaster (or pact caster?) with X on their spell list. It is an interesting rule to add to a game?

I would allow it.

What I mean by that is; I wouldn't go to the trouble of adding a houserule that disallowed it.

I still wouldn't allow a Wizard to treat his Bard buddy as an open book (of spells)...
