Player looking for a game!

Hello everyone!

I would like to try my hand at the PbP side of D&D! I've played in one Pbem game a long long time ago that died off rather quickly due to the DM dissapearing on us. After looking around I discovered this part of the ENworld boards and now I'm interested in playing in a PbP game here! (I've played in numerous in-person games for years off and on now)

I'm looking to play in a 3.0 or 3.5 D&D game, and I'm looking for a group/game that would post at least 5 times a week (every day would be great!).

In general, I like lower-lvl games that build up (starting at levels 1 to 3, although considering that Pbem's and PbP's progress slower then in-person games, I'm certainly open to one that starts at a higher level). I love role-playing and am intrigued by the ways one can develop his/her character through the PbP-style of gaming! I consider myself to be of at least average creativity and intelligence, and faithfull to a group/schedule once established.

I'm up for playing in any kind of world, be it Greyhawk, FR, or home-brew! I like games that aren't rail-roaded and give the players choices of what they'd like to do/accomplish. In general, I usually don't like games that start with "save the world" themes.

If you run an existing game that needs another player, or your going to start a new game you think I'd like, please let me know!

(as for character, I'm currently interested in playing a Halfling Rogue/Fighter that heads into the Master Thrower Prestige Class, or a Human Fighter/Rogue that uses a pole-arm reach weapon. Other then those two, a wiz/sorc could be fun, as well as a Druid. I'm used to using either a 32 or 36 point buy system as that is what my in-person groups use, but I'm open to whatever really)

WonkaMania, I have an opening in my FR game Jungle Deeps and Oceans Depths. It's a 10th level 3.0 game, which might be a bit high for you. But check it out and see if it's to your liking.

Thanks for the response! I do appreciate the offer, but I'm not sure I'd be the right person for it. Perhaps when I said that I was up for playing in the FR world, I should have mentioned that I don't really know too much about it, well, barely anything at all really. Also, I do think that 10th level is perhaps a bit too high for me to start out at, although I may still be interested. Give me a bit to think about it and I'll send you a PM if I'd like to play.

I'm still really interested in getting in a game that is just beginning, so if you're looking to start one or need a new player for one that's recently started, please let me know!

As for my game, you don't have to know a lot about FR, you just should probably have the book, and know that Chult is a jungle-like place. The city you start out at is the capital and the largest city in Chult, and is considered sacred by the inhabitants. It contains a wizard school, but primarily the natives go there. The majority of Chult consists of small tribes.
