Points for Style

There has been the Tier system listing classes (and prestige classes) in terms of power, but has there been one listing them in terms of style?

I mean Warlock should be up there. The class just drips with style.

And Sapphire Hierarch for the prestige classes. Compare them to the functionally somewhat similar Mystic Theurge, which seems much less stylish.

Has anyone done this? If not, does anyone want to list some "stylish" candidates? Or is this all too subjective?

Too subjective. Pretty much any given class has fans and haters.

For my money though, anything from the Tome of Magic is all kinds of awesome.

...Style-wise, at least.

style is the character, not the class.

In play that is true, but it is also true that on paper some classes just sound better than others. Sapphire Hierarch as written in Magic of Incarnum, for example, has a rich background that the Mystic Theurge, as written on the DMG's pages, simply lacks. Soul Knives sound cooler than Fighters, though probably mechanically Fighters are better off. Warlocks sound cool too.

This is not to deny that someone could come up with a stylish Mystic Theurge, or Fighter, but this would have to come from the player (or perhaps the DM, if they put some work into integrating these into their campaign in a stylish way) while SH's have the style right there on the page, so it is easier.
