D&D General Poll: How many Role Playing Games do you play besides D&D?

We have an ongoing Pathfinder 2.0, Shadowrun 6 and D&D 5 campaign, and we're going to launch a Hexxen 2. Edition campaign soon. We've played other systems before, and I hope to play other games in the future, too.
And I've played a lot more over the years, of course, some more frequently, others less so, (including stuff like Torg, Warhammer, Space 1889, Castle Wolfenstein, Space Gothic, d20 Modern, Savage Worlds, Dungeon World, Star Wars D20, a homebrew Star Wars game, Night's Black Agents, even Das Schwarze Auge/The Dark Eye).

D&D is my main, Dread is my fav, Fiasco is a great for casual sessions, and I occasionally intersperse with a short CoC or Eldritch Horror campaign. Then we try other games when someone get interested enough to prep it.

But it's 90% D&D lately.

I do not really feel qualified for running such a game well, and I suspect no one in any of my groups felt like that, either. shrugs

In my experience, in older days people were a lot more willing to try other systems than I've seen of late. Nowadays I see a lot of people push back against playing anything other than D&D, or if they want to do a different genre they'll just use D&D for it with a couple custom tweaks.

Don't know about you but in the old days we were a lot younger and had better information retention. Unless you are talking about actual young people here.

And much less packed schedules!

It's much easier to fit in other games when all the players don't have to schedule around work, kids schedules, family, etc! It's a wonder I can stick in 2 sessions a month, and all else being equal, my players usually prefer D&D in that time. Though sometimes a one shot of another system sneaks through

Might be trying a one shot of Nimble soon, though.

That's about it recently, and mostly one shots other than D&D. Lots more of we go back a ways.

No, I would consider D&D and Pathfinder two different systems, even though 3.5 ad Pathfinder 1e are very similar.

• Star Trek Adventures (for a con game, but have been in a campaign in the past)

Hoping to get a Legend in the Mist game and Draw Steel! game under my belt soon.

Lifetime games played total would be include way more: Hero/Champions, Role Master, Space Master, Palladium (various), Storyteller, Top Secret, Spycraft, Silhouette (Heavy Gear & Jovian Chronicles), GURPS, Mechwarrior 2e, Cyberpunk, Albedo, AWE (various), BitD, WEG Star Wars, LUG Trek, and a handful more for short periods/trying them out. (+ 3 more flavours of D&D)

Actual young people; I recently had a group of college age players who wanted to do Star Wars, but demanded to use 5E instead of considering WEG or SAGA rulesets. I've had other cases as well.
