Poll of Polls

What is your relationship with polls, particularly ones about D&D?

:( I don't have that, either.

Look, all I'm saying is, if there's a top-secret c4bal, I'm sick of being left out. (Also - you guys owe me back-pay.)

-O

The first rule of the c4bal is.... you don't talk about the c4bal!

yeah, yeah, someone had to say it...

WP- Here's what I hope they learned:

(1) We should have kept Dungeon and Dragon as paper magazines.
(2) We should have kept the core races and classes the same.
(3) We should have had our licensing goobledegook in order and ready.
(4) We should have had DDI ready in time with the release of the game.

I'll grant that none of those, saving perhaps #2, would fall into Mike's sphere of influence.

I'd bet dollars to donuts, however, if they had done just 2 of those 4, the transition would have been exponentially smoother than it has been.

And, really, are any of those rocket science? Do you look at any of those and think - "Wow, that would have been very hard to come up with"?

WP

I know I don't post much here but I think WP nailed what I hope WotC missed out on this time around. I play 4e and am trying to like it and it just is a different game. Still open to it but still not sold on it.

3). I've seen you turn these kind of discussions into edition wars and I don't need the drama.
Edit: Crap! I confused the unfair characterization of Jack99 with WP's overreaction to the reveal of the c4bal's existence . . . so, post removed.

But I feel for you, my brothers of the c4bal.
