Assume you use Polymorph Any Object to polymorph a vampire into, say, a toad. Have any of the following questions been answered?
1) It says that gaseous forms cannot be assumed by a creature affected by the spell. But, when you kill the toad, it reverts back to its original form. Does this mean it then goes into gaseous form and tries to reach its coffin?
2) If this is the case, when it reaches the coffin and passes the required hour to regenerate its body, would it then turn back into a toad if there was still time remaining in the spell duration?
3) Would taking the toad out in the sunlight harm it at all?
4) Since a vampire doesn't actually die when staked, if you drove a stake through the toad's heart, would it revert back to vampire form? If so, would it turn back into a toad when you removed the stake?
