Private/Hosted Forum Question

How does one get a private and/or hosted forum? I assume I need to be a Community Supporter (which I was considering anyway). Anything else involved?

You can't any more. Jelsoft changed the vBulletin license to prevent sub-leasing of the software, so to do so would be illegal. Sorry!

What does that mean for existing users?

During the upgrade the current hosted forums will be switched over to the nearest analogue we can find within the constraints of the Jelsoft EULA and the hacks available. Once that is tested out any further decisions lie with Russ.

Approximately when will the upgrade take place? Will past data be preserved?

Hopefully before Christmas. Working on it now. Prepare for massive change.

There has to be a grandfather clause, hasn't there? This of course means that we cannot take a break in the BoAA.
