I thought it was a good interview. I actually feel kind of sorry for them about how many times they have to repeat that it's not scripted. They kind of danced around what the longer term will bring for Daggerheart but that makes sense.

Other than that it sounds like Matt and I take a similar approach to the game in that he has general ideas of where things are probably going but then just see what happens.

This an interesting interview.
Matt has so much material that has never seen the light of day.

His first CR campaign was inky his second campaign he finished.

They’ve never taken money from WotC to play D&D for the main show.
Do they discuss the decision to run D&D instead of DH?

I'm immensely disappointed that they went with 2024 D&D instead of Daggerheart. Seemed to completely stall the momentum of that system and relegated it to "fantasy heartbreaker" status overnight.
Oh well. I'm running Daggerheat tonight while D&D 2024 was looked at once and put on my bookshelf.

Considering how much time a production like this takes to put together I'm not at all surprised. They may switch to DH at some point and I hope you find a game you enjoy, but D&D is a big part of CR's identity and how new DH is switching now would have been a huge risk.
