Prototype rules for the Dungeon Game of Death

Just to make sure I have the rules right:

The Evil mercenary for the Neutral team has 23000 gp with which to buy equipment, and he can be from any PHB or MM race, using the DMG guidelines for Effective Character Level.

28 point buy, 6th level, any alignment.

Did I miss anything?

I would join, gladly. No team preference.

By the way, is a character sheet in Acrobat Form acceptable? I prefer it, since Acrobat Form looks good, and allows you to type on it...
Or do I have to go and find a Word- or Excel-based one, or even *gasp* do without and type all the relevant stuff on an e-mail?

oops, I should have specified that mercs can NOT spend any of the money used to hire them. Remember mercs are motivated by greed and want to keep some money and not spend it on kewl magic equipment. That gold is for victory points only. Evil mercs start with an advantage, but good mercs have a greater chance of getting more loot.

Anyway, I think I'll handle turns like this:

I will send out an email to all good players asking for their actions. I will process them, taking note of how long it will take them to do something.

Then I'll repeat it for the neutral and evil players. Once I finish the evil players, I will move the clock forward to the amount of time the player with the quickest action took to finish.

When combat breaks out, I will automatically run the first round, then send out an email to all players asking what they want to do. It's a bit unrealistic that all players will know of every fight, but that's the only way I can see it being done.

here's the current roster*

Number 47 - city hero
victim - adventurer
nitessine - adventurer
horacio - adventurer

Troll - good merc

kamard - lieutenant
fsck - lieutenant

*I promised two of my RL friends that I would let them play if they want to. I haven't found out what they want to do though.

I prefer characters generated with pcgen http://pcgen.sourceforge.net/

but any format that I can read and copy from is ok.

As hilarious as that common misspelling is, I must work to correct it...

It's ROSTER. Not rooster.

The current rooster would be pretty funny I bet.

We heroes need a secure stronghold to discuss our plans to vaquish evil. Maybe we could set up a yahoo group or email list to share information.

A thread here could work, if people agree to stay out of th other teams' threads.
