Prototype rules for the Dungeon Game of Death

edit to say a few things:

lesser planar ally and similar spells have a cost. Anyone wanting to use this has to pay the outsider 1,000 exp and 6,000 gold. This represents the time and effort it takes to cultivate an extraplanar friend.

Anyone wanting to use a monster must use the ECL printed in dragon 293. If you want a level 1 wizard pixie lich go for it.

I dunno, i haven't read the lich template that closely. I'm just a big hackmaster fan.

Also, is there something easier than pcgen for character generation that outputs to html?

NEW MAILING LISTS!

Hi All!

I have created two mailing lists to use in the Game of Death, one evil and one good. Subscribing to the good or evil list requires approval by myself or clockworkjoe (clockwork I have sent you e-mail describing how to access the management functions).

Even though I am an admin (it's my website) I am NOT subscribed to the GOOD list since I am evil -I promise not to peak

A few things:

MAPS: Valid maps MUST be submitted in a format identical to Macbrea's HTML tabled based one. You can see it at http://www.geocities.com/macbrea/GoD3Images/GOD2Round10.html

All maps must have a comment in each table cell to specify what section it is. For example the cell that is A1 must have // A1 in it so I can easily find certain boxes on the map. All links must be relative and have all gifs in a separate subdirectory.

As an incentive, anyone who creates this HTML based map will gain 3,000 gp worth of gear or whatever he or she wants to spend it on. If more than one person creates the map, the reward will be split.

OTHER:
The distance from dungeon to town is 15 miles. It will take only 5 minutes to activate any reinforcements and have them start going towards the dungeon.

Evil team members may NOT leave the dungeon or cast spells outside of the dungeon in anyway so no ambushing the good guys standing outside of the entrance. This is because I don't want to keep track of anything outside of the dungeon that is combat related. In game terms the lich has placed a geas or similar spell on evil team members to remain in the dungeon for the duration. All Mercs CAN leave the dungeon however, but can not attack outside the dungeon.

Cohorts use a 24 point buy system for attributes. Followers use an 18 point buy system. Anyone with followers must create their stats and submit them as well.

If you want to change any character you have submitted, please just resubmit it.
