Hey, folks -- I'm starting to think I might be too busy in the coming weeks to do this game justice. Is there anyone out there who's sad that they missed out on a slot in this GoD and would like to play a good guy? If so, post here, and if ClockworkJoe is willing, I'll give up my slot.
(Of course, if no one's interested, I'll definitely play: it does sound like fun, and the fate of the world's at stake, after all. But I'd rather give the slot up to someone.)

Daniel, don't be so quick to give up your slot! If you only expect to be busy for two or three weeks, you should stay in. I don't even expect we'll start before a week, week-and-a-half from now. When we do, clockworkjoe will be doing most of the work until combat is actually engaged. With so many people, you should do fine if you just check in for a couple minutes a day.
But, if you do give up your slot, I'll look forward to fighting beside you or against you the next time.

clockworkjoe: what is our status? Are all the available positions signed up for? Who is signed up for the positions? Who of them have their characters in? Do we have either map turned in? Most important, is there any projected timeline? I get the impression that a start date might be a good kick in the pants for some of the dawdlers.

No maps so far and I just emailed a list of all approved characters to both email lists.
Full roster is available on the front page. I'm working on a quick web page for references for de players and so forth.

Just send a txt file of your character. That's easiest for me.
Later on I'll throw up a copy of everyone's sheet, viewable only by your team of course so you can keep track of you and your team mate;s stats and so forth.
I'll give everyone a week from when I get both maps submitted to get their characters in.
If I don't get two maps in two weeks, I'll call the whole thing off.
