Ptolus - Six Days Early!

I'm going with where Praemal and Serran (The Lands of the Diamond Throne) are both halves of the same world.

Same but still separate worlds. The Giants (Hu-Charad Titans) are the key ingredient for the connection.

The three main books then will be: Ptolus, Arcana Evolved, and Beyond Countless Doorways.

I'll have to read the whole book of Ptolus before I decide on a starting point.

Peace and smiles :)

Yeah, I'd prefer to have Praemal and Serran as the same world, as they match pretty well in a number of ways (like the Hu-Charad). In the end it comes down to how easy it is for me to strip out the core races, as I don't use them in my AE-influenced homebrew. Then I could lump them all together in the same world, along with all the supercool stuff from Beyond Countless Doorways.

I'm carving Viridistan out of the Wilderlands and dropping Ptolus there. I have that part of the world as the crumbling Byzantium of a dead, magically destroyed Rome on the western side of that major mountain chain. I use the Wilderlands as the geography for my homebrew, and Ptolus will (hopefully) be a major site in the campaign.

I also just got my players guides. I am so stoked. My players have also been perusing my guides and are already asking me to start a new campaign there.

My anticipation is building...

Down to single digits now!

I think it's time for me to go back and reread my players' guides and the Ptolus PDFs again.

As soon as I get a job, I'm buying Deadwood, season 1, ST:tNG seasons 6 & 7, Heroes of Horror, Monster Manual IV, The Arcana Evolved Spell Treasury, and all things Ptolus:

There's the minis from Paizo, the maps from Skeleton Key, and it seems like there was something else. . .
I guess it's time to go visit the Malhavoc press website again and figure out what all the partners are selling.

I guess I'll need to buy a house too, so I can set up a proper gaming room, with an obscenely large map of Ptolus on one wall and a walk-in closet to store books, miniatures, and all the Dwarven Forge I'll buy one day. . .

Ah, fantasy is wonderful

All prepped to do a Dungeon Crawl Classics set in Ptolus here on the play-by-post boards once I'm done reading all the relevant stuff about the Docks and its NPCs. Whee!
