Thinking of this and I have to wonder why it was not done before? Think it would rock as a play BUT I keep seeing that ad on TV were the Dirty Dozen is made into a icecapade.

There is a stage adaptation touring the UK at the moment (http://www.amadrama.co.uk/holygrail) by Special Arrangement of Michael Palin's "Gumby Corporation".

So, how are they going to get the audience to not say the lines a half-beat ahead of the actors onstage?

I hope it does make it here. Not sure if it could live for long on Broadway, but it could have a run of years Off-Broadway, I'm sure.
