Question about the Protection Domain

From the SRD:

PROTECTION DOMAIN

"Granted Power: You can generate a protective ward as a supernatural ability. Grant someone you touch a resistance bonus equal to your cleric level on his or her next saving throw. Activating this power is a standard action. The protective ward is an abjuration effect with a duration of 1 hour that is usable once per day."

Can "someone you touch" be yourself, or do the cleric have to use it on somebody else?

yes, the cleric may opt to touch themselves, though it still takes a standard action as per transferring the bonus to someone else, you just don't have to worry about being close enough to touch yourself.

Sure. I don't see any restriction against touching yourself (though some people frown if you do that in public ;)) instead of someone else. Consider it as similar to a spell with "Target: Creature touched".
