Are there any Circle of Thorns guys who aren't so dang powerful? I'm Level 7. Have a mission to kill a few, went into the middle of Perez Park, and all the ones I found conned red and up.

I think the lowest CoT guys are 8-9...and Perez Park is not a place a level 7 wants to wander alone. I'd suggest finding or forming a group and then tackle it. A lot of the missions that fall later in the different story arcs virtually require you to group

Also, if you're on the justice server, I'd be glad to help you out if I can. Just look for Mentacles.

edit - now that I think about it...there are other low level CoT (still 8-9) not in PP...can't remember the area but they're only found at night and usually in smaller numbers than in PP.

Look under bridges or on rooftops at night in the gish in King's row for Circle of Thorns more near your level...

I'll try the King's Row ones. I'm not sure if they'll work, though - my mission sais Perez Park.

Unfortunately if the mission specifically says Perez, then it must be Perez. Best bet is to hook up with a group hunting them.

Just head into Perez park and talk with the heroes hanging out by the entrance. See if you can get a CoT hunting team together.

By the way, what server are you on? I'm currently in need of some CoT hunting with two of my characters.

You'll have to group. The only other option is to wait about three levels and do other missions. Personally, I'd hold off until level 8 before going into the depths of Perez Park. The Thorns are under the tree canopy in the middle of the park and can be very nasty. There are ones that are outside of the tree canopy to the southeast part of the grassland park, but they're a notch tougher.

Just wait till you level. There are other missions you can do. That's what I do if it seems to be too hard. COT are deadly especially the mages. Cloakwork are a pain too. God I hate them! Anyway go to the www.coh.com and look at the forums. You an find people to form hunting parties.

I had a door mission yesterday against COT guys in a long cave complex. I was 6th or 7th at the time IIRC and so were the COT's. So far I've only seen them once just patrolling Kings Row - again they were about 7th IIRC.
