I agree, which is why I have always wondered why there is no quick sheathe feat in any of the new books.

One reason would be that it is actually a lot trickier to accurately slide a weapon into a scabbard in the blink of an eye than it is to draw one in the same amount of time. I'd be tempted to allow this via a skill check for characters with Quick Draw as an extended usage of Sleight of Hand, but failure by 5 or more means you stab yourself in the thigh.
