In the PoL campaign setting implied by WotC, can anyone tell me about minotaurs? And specifically what people would think if they saw one?

One of my players wants to play one, and I was wondering what their history was, and in the Nentir Vale.

Do you have a monster manual? It's all on page 191, Minotaur Lore.

Basically most people would know them as savage dungeon dwelling brutes that kill for pleasure. A few more educated people may know that a majority of them worship the demon lord Baphomet. However their more benign kin tend to be secluded, contemplative warriors.

In the implied setting, following the MM info, they are almost certainly not acceptable as anything but gladiators.

First sentence of MM entry: "Minotaurs are fierce, bull-headed monsters that worship demons and enslave and plunder weaker creatures."


So, yeah.
