(Quick Question) Slings & STR?

Villano

Do you add your strength bonus to the damage from a sling?

I can't recall if it's considered a thrown weapon or something which is fired. I know I saw this covered in one of the books, but now I can't find it.

Thanks. I knew I saw it somewhere.

I kept checking the weapon and combat section sections. Silly me.
Also, check out pages 96 and 97 of the PH in the Equipment section, too. Page 96, column 2 at the bottom, Melee and Ranged Weapons. This tells you about how to apply strength to ranged weapons, both thrown and projectile. Then look at page 97, column 2 in the middle, Projectile Weapons. This tells you that a sling is a projectile weapon.
