Valan sits, and looks to his allies "What say the rest, do we have enough time?"

Gideon shrugs, "We are on a schedule, but I wouldn't be opposed to a comfortable place to rest."

Tor ponders whether it would be better to be attacked out in the open, or in the farmer's barn. It wouldn't do to discourage the attack overmuch, and the bandits may dislike hiking...

"As you wish, my friends. If the good farmer will have us, we will stay."

Tor will make sure to keep his chain handy.

Dustin lets out a small chuckle, "I assure you, gentlemen, I do not make my guests sleep in the barn. If you wish to stay the night I will have guest rooms made available to you. Your horse is welcome to say in the barn, of course."

The rancher stands and makes ready to leave, "If you don't mind waiting a few more moments, I will have one of my assistants show you to the guest rooms." He then gives you a smile and a nod and departs the sitting room.

An elderly man enters the sitting room after a few minutes and gives you a small bow, "If you will please follow me, sirs." He leads you upstairs and down a long hallway, at the end of which are two open doors, one on each side of the hall.

"Mr. Travers apologizes, but you will have to share accommodations. The room on the north will hold two people while there is space in the southern room for three. I will leave the distribution up to yourselves. If you have any gear left in your wagon, or out on the porch, let me know and I will have it brought up to you. My name is Paul and I am at your service."

"Thank you, Paul. I've got everything I need on me, but I apreciate the offer."

Tor moves into the room to the north, examining it. He notes whether the windows would allow someone outside to enter, and whether they would allow an emergency escape route. He places his backpack down on one of the beds, but keeps his chain in hand.

If no one else acts promptly, he will suggest that Valan join him in the north room and the others use the south. Once someone joins him, he closes the door and checks to see if it can be locked.

To whichever companion joins him, he asks "First watch, or second?"

Gideon agrees, and heads for the other room, setting himself up for the night.
