Whoa whoa whoa, hold on there big fella, this ain't over yet! We haven't had our epic battle with the supervillains yet![/sblock]
Fimble curses when Gideon shows everybody the receipt. "We've been scurrying like rats down in the sewers and they're up here getting away! Let's go arrest them! They attacked us, not only themselves but by unleashing deadly rats, in the sewers, a restricted area, publicly funded. If that's not enough evidence for arrest, I don't know what is. We can link them to the robberies later. Come on!"

Tor agrees to attempting to intercept the escaping bad guys as quickly as possible.

ooc: Tor's still willing to do all that can be done, I was just trying to suggest out of character that if the DM has allready established the badguys got away, we should expedite. If we can still catch them, even better.

OOC: Does the receipt have a date?

Gideon agrees that they should try to apprehend Drezel and Otto first, and search Drezel's shop later. "If we can get horses quickly, that might get us there faster. But we could probably run to the docks. Tor, one of us might need to carry Fimble if we want to travel quickly. No offense, Fimble."

ooc:The receipt is dated for today. What time is it? And how far "north of the city' are the docks? We may have no choice but to get some horses if we want to get there in any decent kind of time.

From conversations you've heard in your time in town you recall that the dock complex is about a half-day's walk north.

Fimble McGee, Gnome Jockey of Humans who are Jockeys of Horses

OOC: Ack, sounds like we need horses.

Fimble, perched on Tor's back, exclaims, "Wait, the docks are half a days walk away from here! We'll never get there in time by just running! Where's this carriage place? Should we just run north and hope we come across a carriage renter? We're employed by the city, right? Can we just... take some citizens' horses?"
