Race Writing Quickbook

Attached is my 31 paged RTF (Have in PDF, just to big for the limit here) Race Template and Quickbook for Copy and Paste Race writing. It was designed for my players who wanted to write races, but who didn't follow the style of the PHB enough for my taste.

This has various racial traits from many sources, or from those that are written by myself. This is not for purchase, and is fan oriented.

What I am posting this for is for any interested party to use it, or contribute their own racial entries into it.

Such entries should not refer to a specific race, or gender.

Instead use RACE NAME, or HE/SHE, HIS/HER, and so on. There are a few house rules embedded into the attached version, including Vulnerabilities (Vu), Perception Ability, and Appeal Ability, these can be ignored or incorporated into your own setting as you wish.

Sensitive Nature (Vu): Race name are sensitive and fragile creatures, and as such receive a -# penalty to Will Saves. He/she can remove this penalty by taking the Iron Will feat.

The one thing I find confusing is that some things state a level adjustment to add them to a race but other things do not.

I did that for a few things, but haven't decided on the cost of other things.


It was really just a cheat copy sheet for writing.

I am hoping that someone could help take it to the next level of development.

I know this,

I wrote it as a quick book for my friends...as such it isn't in a proper format.

Part of the reason it was posted was to see if anyone had interest in it's further development

You might want to check it against the Race Creation Cookbook. The Race Creation Cookbook has a point based race creation system. It make races acreation a little more fair.
