It seems that WoTC is doing more teases leading up to this release than compared to the Elemental Evil storyline, probably due to the n-Space game and Neverwinter storylines building off it. I'm enjoying it and it has made me a bit more hyped for the story line.

Out of the Abyss is just the first part of Rage of Demons for table top, I think there are more coming for rage of demons after it.

No, I don't think there is. Rage of Demons is the overall thing which includes the adventure, video game, novels, etc. OotA is specifically the adventure in that list, just like the video games and novels have their own titles.

Disclaimer: Back in the day, I really enjoyed the Icewind Dale and Dark Elf trilogies. The last Drizzt book that I tried to read, though, was so bad that I had to quit after a handful of chapters. I'm not a huge Drizzt fan, but neither am I full of ragehate for him.

Now, all of that said, I thought Drizzt looked alright in this trailer. Further, I don't think his inclusion here is meant to overshadow the PCs in any way. He is equal part stand in for the PCs since the trailer can't magically include every D&D player's favorite character; and branding tool. In all, good stuff here.
