Catfolk (Mini Handbook) are humanoid, lizardfolk are humanoid, locathah are humanoid... Tasloi (OA) are humanoid. Tortles (Drag#315) are humanoid. AU sibeccai and litorian are humanoid. EQ furry races are humanoid.

Humanoid

From what I remember about Rakasta, from original DnD, not enough differences (game mechanics wise), other than the tiger head, to set them apart from the other player races.

They're not monsters, they're a base player race in some Mystaran settings (notably Red Coast/Savage Steel, err, Red Steel/Savage Coast).

But this vote is on the Rakasta update under discussion in the "Mystara Monsters" thread, which has abilities (Rake, Improved Grab) that humanoids generally don't.

I voted Monstrous, but I'll be happy either way.

It's a humanoid IMHO. It walks and talks and has the guts of a humanoid and looks like a cat. So it has scent and a mirriad of other stuff that some other humanoids get, my vote is for humanoid.

I say monsterous but I could see it both ways. Its monsterous in that few humaniods have special attacks and it is listed as having improved grab and mounted leap, and few humaniods had special attacks besides that gained from classes.

On the over hand it is quite humanlike in shape except for being a cat so I can see the other side of the agrument.
