Ranger Multiclass Feat Erratta

First Post
Awhile back somebody said there was erratta on the ranger multiclass feat in the PHB, and that the hunter's quarry ability it granted only lasted one round. Since the book has been out though, I haven't been able to find anything about that, or any erratta at all really (not counting the FAQ which isn't really erratta). Does anyone know where I might find this, or if it in fact really does exist?

Nevermind, I found it in the core handbook errata thread

✦ p.208: the second sentence of the Warrior of the Wild benefit should say, “Once per encounter until the end of your next turn, you may use the Hunter's Quarry class feature” [WotC_Miko]

So it sounds like you can get 2 shots off with it. Not too bad, given that you get a free skill as well.

Now it's pretty much in-line with the rogue ability.

Ranger: 1d6, twice. (then 2d6 and 3d6)
Rogue: 2d6. (then 3d6 and 5d6)

Ranger: Minor Action
Rogue: Free

Ranger: Usable any time
Rogue: Requires CA

Ranger: Attacks could miss, wasting the effect
Rogue: Only used on a hit

Ranger: Feat needs Str 13 or Dex 13
Rogue: Needs Dex 13

Ranger: Works on any attack
Rogue: Light blade, crossbow, sling

In the end, I'd call the ranger one more accessible and flexible, but that the rogue one will deliver more potent and reliable "burst" damage. I like them both.

Doesn't Hunter's Quarry only apply once per round?
