Readying Dimensional Door/Teleport to evade?

Can you ready an action to Dimensional Door/Teleport away from:

-An melee attack?
-A ranged attack?
-A ranged spell?

In the caster of melee/ranged attacks, if the attack has multiple shots, can he still use them against you (if you're in his line of sight maybe?)

I would certainly allow the trigger "if anyone attacks me", yes. Mind you, it seems a bit pointless, since if you're going to teleport away you might as well just do it, instead of waiting for someone to attack you.

Most likely you would do it to distract the enemy from an ally. Or to slip in a few choice taunts.
