Reaper S02E06 - Underbelly

Orius

Unrepentant DM Supremacist
Sam is sent on a road trip to catch a soul, and he takes the gang along. When he gets to the town, however, he finds that a tentacled beast has taken over.

This week's episode.

Not much action, this one's a character builder more than anything. Lot's of stuff going on.

Think this was the mark for Sam to go over to the dark side. Guess we will get to see how diabolical he can be in the name of justice!

We also find out about Sam's powers, it is like the writers read the boards. ;)

I don't know, his actions weren't particularly evil.

He didn't kill the Sheriff and argued that he'd suffer more? That seemed more like a way to convince our hot demon of not killing him, not that he truely enjoyed the Sheriff suffering. If he died, wouldn't he go to hell anyway? Or do you need to sell your soul to the devil for that?

After all, purely theoretically, the Sheriff now has all the time to redeem himself.

Looks like this will be Reaper’s last season. While there is no official word (unless something has come out recently), Sock has already signed on for another show and the creators/producers have signed a deal with Fox.

If it is I hope they got enough notice to wrap it up properly.

Not surprising. When the idiot network programmers put it opposite American Idol like brainless morons after delaying half a season for a tired relaunch of 90210 so the actors from the previous show can get acting gigs again, it's not surprising the show tanked.

And if it's true, which seems to be the case, I'm done with network TV. I've been burned by NBC, ABC, Fox (several times), and now this wannabe network. Nope, no more new shows for me, not when execs are making even more cheapass shows resulting in more reality crap. I watch very little on TV anyway. I know they don't care, but I still feel I'm contributing to the slow hemorrhaging that TV is feeling.
