Reaping Strike + Dwarven Weapon Training

Falling Icicle

Does the +2 damage from Dwarven Weapon Training apply to the Miss damage of Reaping Strike? The same goes for the damage dealt to the adjacent target with Cleave, does the +2 apply to that?

For example, let's say we have a Dwarf Fighter with Strength 18 and the Dwarven Weapon Training feat. Does he do 4 damage or 6 damage on a miss with Reaping Strike? Does he do 4 damage or 6 damage to the second target with Cleave?

No.

Depends whther he's using a one-handed or two-handed weapon. With a one-handed weapon he'd do 2 damage on a miss, with a two-handed he'd do 4.

4.

DWT provides a feat bonus to damage rolls. Reaping strike doesn't provide a damage roll (a 1[w] and so forth) it says you do damage on a miss equal to your strength or half your strength. Cleave is the same way.

Yeah, pretty much all damage bonuses in the book (stat, feat, item, versatile, etc) give the bonus to damage *rolls*, so they don't apply to static damage like Reaping Strike on a miss, or Cleave to the secondary target.

However, Hunter's Quarry and the Pit Fighter features do not specify "hit" or "roll", so theoretically they apply to misses and secondary damage as well.
